Japan’s Havix Corporation is increasing its thermal bond capacity to 4800 tons per year. The new equipment, which will add 1200 tons capacity, should begin operation in October 2012. According to Nonwovens Industry Far East correspondent Kin Ohmura, the new capacity will target increased demand for thermal bonded nonwovens in the adult incontinence market.
